Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 01.01.2026 · Last Updated: 16.06.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Amory Apps Corp (“Moonie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you use the Moonie mobile application, our websites, our onboarding quiz, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Moonie is a baby sleep application that provides educational, evidence-informed content and a personalized sleep plan. The Service is intended for parents and caregivers in the United States who are at least 18 years old. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This Policy applies to anyone who uses the Service. The Service is designed for adults (parents and caregivers). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly let children create accounts or interact with the Service directly. Information about your baby (such as age or sleep patterns) is provided by you, the adult account holder, not collected directly from a child. See Section 9 (Children’s Privacy).
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Onboarding quiz answers. During setup you may tell us about your baby’s age, date of birth, current sleep and wake patterns, nap schedule, feeding and soothing habits, sleep environment, developmental milestones, and your sleep-related goals and concerns.
- Account and profile information. Your first name (or a name you choose), email address, and the baby’s name or nickname if you provide one.
- Communications. Messages you send us (for example, support requests or feedback).
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and technical data. Device type and model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, and general region.
- Usage data. Screens viewed, lessons and articles opened, features used, session length, and interaction events.
- Identifiers. App-level identifiers, push notification tokens, and (where permitted) advertising or attribution identifiers used to measure how you found the app.
2.3 Information From Payment and Third Parties
- Payment processing. When you purchase a subscription, our third-party payment processor (and, where used, Apple Pay or another supported payment method) processes your payment and shares limited transaction and subscription-status data with us. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
- Analytics and attribution providers. Aggregated or pseudonymous data about app performance and marketing campaign effectiveness.
We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, precise geolocation, or financial account numbers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Generate and deliver your personalized sleep plan and related educational content;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including fixing bugs and developing new features;
- Process subscriptions, manage billing status, and prevent fraud;
- Send you service-related messages, reminders, and (with your consent where required) marketing communications you can opt out of;
- Respond to your support requests;
- Measure and improve our marketing and onboarding funnel in aggregate;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not use your baby’s sleep information or your quiz answers to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not engage in automated decision-making of that kind.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information for money.
- Service providers / processors. Companies that host our infrastructure, process payments, provide analytics, deliver push notifications and email, and support customer service. They may only use the information to perform services for us.
- App stores. Apple and Google, in connection with app distribution.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Moonie, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to this Policy.
- With your direction or consent. When you ask us to share information, or otherwise consent.
“Sale” and “Sharing” Under State Law
Some U.S. state privacy laws define “sale” and “sharing” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) broadly. To the extent our use of analytics or attribution identifiers is considered “sharing” under those laws, you may opt out as described in Section 8. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone, and we do not sell sensitive information.
5. Marketing and the Onboarding Funnel
Our onboarding quiz and marketing pages may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to understand how visitors arrive and convert. On the web, you can control cookies through your browser settings. In the app, you can manage tracking permissions through your device settings (for example, iOS App Tracking Transparency). Limiting tracking will not prevent you from using the core Service.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access / know the personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Portability — receive a copy of your information in a portable format;

- Limit the use of sensitive personal information;
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8A. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in Section 8. In the past 12 months we may have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (e.g., email, device identifiers), customer records (e.g., name), internet/usage activity, and inferences used to personalize content. We collect this information for the business purposes described in Section 3. We do not sell personal information and do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted under the CPRA. To exercise your rights, see Section 8.
8B. Other State Privacy Rights
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including, for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others as they take effect) have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and any sale. You also have the right to appeal a refused request by replying to our response. To exercise these rights, see Section 8.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Information about an infant or toddler is provided by the adult account holder about their own child; it is not collected from the child as a user.
We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@mooniesleep.com and we will delete it.
10. Health-Related Information
Some information you provide (such as your baby’s sleep patterns) may be considered sensitive. We treat this information with care and use it only to personalize your educational content and the Service. Moonie is not a healthcare provider, and this information is not protected health information under HIPAA. We do not provide it to insurers or employers.
11. United States Users Only
The Service is intended for users located in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service may link to third-party websites, products, or services (including app stores). This Policy does not cover their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party you interact with.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email and update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
